Annual Appeal Update

The Maranacook Education Foundation (MEF) is in the midst of its Annual Appeal when we ask our past, current and future donors to support our efforts to enrich the programming within our school district. While we would gladly accept a donation at any time of the year, this is the time of year that fundraising is our focus. As many of you know, our funds support classroom grants, student scholarships and awards, staff recognitions, the Maranacook Food Bank, and other emergency needs that come up in the district. Each year, our operating budget is between $15,000-$20,000 and that is our goal during this fundraising period. To date, we have raised $15,500 from 44 donors and we hope that, over the next couple of weeks, we are able to report that we have reached that goal.
