Announcing the next grant recipient ....Paul McGovern, Maranacook Elementary Schools Technology Integrator, who received funding to support the implementation of a technology program to enhance reading instruction. By integrating technology, teachers can supplement their instruction with fun and engaging online activities. eSpark Learning is a subscription service that assesses students' needs and creates a personalized curriculum for every student. At their own pace, students engage in a learning "quest" for each area of need. A quest involves a pre-quiz, a sequence of videos, games, and other activities, and a post-quiz. Students then record a video explaining what they learned. This grant will allow four selected elementary classrooms to pilot eSpark Learning for the remainder of this school year.
