And the next MEF 2019 grant recipient is ....Cami Wilbert, Education Director from the Friends of the Cobbossee Watershed, who received funding to collaborate with grade 5 teachers at Manchester Elementary School to implement a project called "From Classroom to Stream." Through this project, the students will learn about the biological, cultural and economic importance of native fish and how our cold water fish depend on clean and healthy water habitats. Students will raise brook trout from eggs to small fish in their classroom and then travel to a local stream to individually release them into the wild. What a fantastic experience for these lucky children! Thank you to Cami and our donors for making this possible!
